FINALLY.... a resource for people with disabilities (PWD), their providers and those who serve others.
One in every five Americans have a disability. But miscommunication, misunderstanding and misinformation have made things difficult forAmerica’s largest minority. At Accessible Connections, our goal is to change that, through entertaining and enlightening presentations, creative marketing solutions and promotion of all things celebratory about living with a disability.
Next Step is a movement that addresses the causes of the social and economic exclusion of people with disabilities, and other devalued groups through education and activism. It was founded by people who have disabilities with extensive experience in organizing for social change.
Moreover: They are an incredible, talented, hard-working group of people who believe in what they do. And how many times in life can you say that and mean it?
